Kaiārahi Rārangi Mahi - Line Supervisor

 

A line supervisor is responsible for overseeing the processing of the product, monitoring staff, and making sure the production requirements are being met. Line supervisors can work at sea on vessels that carry out processing or on land. 

 

Entry Requirements

Useful to have:

- Around 2 years experience
- New Zealand Certificate in Seafood Processing Level 3

- Working towards gaining the New Zealand Certificate in Seafood Processing Level 4 - Production Context

Career Progression 

Line supervisors can jump to many different parts of a seafood business including team leader, an  office based roles, a machine operators or into logistics.
